Welcome Tegan Brye Cook

Little Tegan Brye Cook came into this world Thursday night, December 4th at 10:31 pm. He was scheduled to come on Friday Dec 5th but our God had a different plan. Due to his unexpected arrival, I was invited to join Brett in the opereating room for the C-section. Jessica's sister Heahther who lives in Huntsville, AL was supposed to film his first minutes of life in this world, but she was unable to make it on time. I was very honored and extremely happy to witness this miracle. It was very fasinating and I believe watching discovery health channel all the time helped prepare me for what i was gonna see. Brett and Jessica and doing great and they came home from the hospital yesterday and Jaci and Breeson are very excited to have their baby brother home. Tegan weighed 7 lbs 9 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. He is absolutely perfect and I just love him to pieces.

GOD IS SOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!

I want to start off by saying what a wonderful God we serve. He is so good to us even though we don't deserve it. I am so glad to be serving a Living God who answers prayers for his children. I have been praying a specific prayer and after 8 months he has anwered! I give him all the Glory and Praise for such a wonderful blessing that came a great time. My brother Jamie had a precious little girl, Baylee Shore Kimbrell, born on March 24, 2008 and we all dearly longed to bond and spend time with her. However, things were not gonna be in our favor. After 8 months of not being able to see her, God stepped in. A wonderful miracle has happened and My brother is going to finally get to be the daddy he has been wanting to be. She (the mother) has agreed to let him have her every other weekend and every Wednesday thru Thursday night because the is his off day from work. Also we got to spend Thanksgiving with her and My daddy got to meet his little Granddaughter for the first time. Plans have already been made for to spend Christmas with the family and we are sooo happy. I wouldn't even know where to begin to tell you what all the Lord has done for me but this is just a good example how GOD answers prayers.

Happy 92nd Birthday Papa Smith

On Sunday November 23,2008 Papa (Elijah) Smith celebrated his 92nd Birthday with family and friends at church. Also we celebrated at Eagle Rock Grill on Friday Nov. 28th with more family and friends. He was very excited to see everyone and glad to be alive.

Happy Birthday Nikolas Sprouse

Nikolas Sprouse turned 1 year old on November 9, 2008. We joined him on November 15th for a Tigger and Pooh Birthday party. He is such a sweet heart and really loved his cake!!
